World Reach

Heartspring World Reach is dedicated to touching the lives of children all over the world.

International programs include professional training and consultation, participation in international conferences and workshops, and collaboration with pioneering and innovative individuals and organizations in other countries.

Our goal is to provide, training, support and recognition to those seeking assistance and education from around the globe, and our vision is to improve the quality of life for children with special needs anywhere they may be found.

Sadly, estimates by the World Health Organization state that some 200 million children are living with some form of a disability and that 80% of them are from developing countries. The support that we can offer to developing programs worldwide can have a tremendous impact on their ability to meet this growing need.

What is the Heartspring Teacher Exchange Program?

Heartspring's Teacher Exchange Program is designed to support, inspire, train and motivate professionals from other countries who work with children with special needs and are seeking further education and awareness. This is done through an introduction, orientation, and training process on the Heartspring campus, utilizing Heartspring professionals and an immersion into the classrooms, homes, and numerous other activities that provide learning opportunities.

Stars and Rain Education Institute for Autism - Beijing, China

Since 2005, Heartspring has shared a sister school relationship with Stars and Rain. Each year, teachers from Stars and Rain come to Heartspring to learn and share, taking back new ideas and resources to reach more children in China. And when possible, Heartspring professionals take their expertise to Stars and Rain to provide on-site training to all of their staff. Your gift to support the China Teacher Exchange Program will provide essential training and support to help the children and families of Stars and Rain learn and grow together. Because of this program, they have helped start over 100 new programs who serve children with autism in China!

Action for Autism and Open Door - New Delhi, India

There are nearly 4 million people in India with autism, yet only 20 schools exist to provide autism services. In 2007, the first of these programs, the Open Door School, became Heartspring’s second international sister school. The India Teacher Exchange Program supports a cultural and informational exchange between Heartspring professionals and the teachers at the Open Door School. Your donation to support the India Exchange Program will help to change the lives of children and families in India.
