The mercury rose quickly on July 17th but that didn’t stop a group of Spirit employees. The day began early as volunteers grabbed buckets, sponges, and squeegees. Their task at hand was to clean as many windows and Heartspring vehicles as possible. By noon, chrome and glass sparkled like diamonds in the noon sun.

A mid day break gave way to relaxation and a fun as the afternoon splash party got underway. Heartspring residential students splashed in wading pools, delighted in water balloons and leapt through sprinklers.

Heartspring staff and students are grateful to the enduring commitment that Spirit employees exhibit through their volunteer time and through the generous contributions of the Spirit AeroSystems Good Neighbor Fund.
